Your focus will be on managing existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive engagement. You'll work closely with a portfolio of clients, helping them maximize the value of our services across multiple verticals. Success in this role means being proactive, strategic, and client focused. You’ll work towards retention and growth targets, ensuring clients receive top-tier service while contributing to company revenue. Location: London Waterloo, hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office.
About the role:
You’ll report to the Sales Manager, joining a fast-paced team with considerable impact on Gumtree commercials and customer experience. You’ll work alongside our Services Sales team, building relationships with existing accounts ensuring each client gets the very best advertising solutions to support their business goals. With 10 service categories to explore—including home services, removals, and cleaning—you’ll identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. You’ll use data to highlight value delivered to support retention and growth as well as establish structured calls to run through campaign performance. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things products and solutions to your account base building long term mutually beneficial relationships.

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in Account Management with high volume SME accounts with proven results in delivering to targets and KPIs.
- Experience in negotiating deals and upselling/cross selling solutions.
- Excellent communication. You build connections with ease, taking in pride in understanding and delivering to customer needs.
- You’ll be an analytical thinker, with the knack for story telling through data.
- You’ll be proactive, results-oriented and organised.
