We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Commercial Manager (Marketplace Strategy Manager) to join our team. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and defining the look of our Cars, Property and Pets verticals as we embark on a significant phase of growth. Your key ownership areas include Go-To-Market Strategy, Pricing Strategy, Supply and Demand Management and Market Analytics. Our plan is to quadruple the size of the business in the coming years, you’ll help us get there! Location: London, hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office.
About the role:
You will report to the Head of Commercial for B2B focussing on the delivery of Commercial and Marketplace strategy across our Cars, Property and Pets categories. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across sales, marketing, product and operations to define and implement the strategy that acts as a key enabler to unlock our future growth potential. Your key focus areas will be to investigate and unlock B2B and C2C growth initiatives whilst delivering exceptional value to our customers. You’ll own the pricing strategy and structure driving adoption and retention while ensuring profitability. You’ll monitor and address marketplace dynamics, ensuring optimal balance between supply and demand. You’ll be highly data driven, undertaking market research to identify trends, opportunities and customer needs. You’ll also conduct detailed commercial analysis to uncover growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

What are we looking for?
- Sound background in driving commercial growth in a two-sided marketplace or ecommerce set up. This includes a strong understanding of supply-demand dynamics in a services marketplace or similar environment.
- Category experience in Cars is essential. Property and Pets would be a bonus.
- You’ll be experienced in creating and executing Go-To-Market strategies, including prospecting and targeting.
- You’ll be analytical and data driven, with strong commercial acumen and strategic approach.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving growth objectives.
- You love the pace of ever evolving digital marketplaces and be comfortable with ambiguity and change.
