We have a fixed term contract opportunity for a Sales Consultant/ Account Executive to join our SME sales team. You’ll oversee existing accounts within our Jobs category as well as upsell and nurture existing and lapsed accounts, promoting Gumtree listing as a go to destination for cost effective recruitment solution for SMEs (Care Homes, Coffee Shops, Construction etc.). You'll be purely phone based, making a high volume of outbound sales calls to identify opportunities, open doors and bring new clients to Gumtree platform. You’ll join a small, yet passionate SME sales team focussed on growth and brilliant customer service. Location: London Waterloo, hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

About the role:

You’ll join a high impact team with mix of Sales and Account executives. You’ll oversee a warm desk focussed on listings across our Jobs Vertical. 70% of your role will be account management, whilst 30% will be proactive business development across lapsed accounts and incoming queries. Our approach is authentic and non-scripted, so bring your flair and strong service orientation. It’s important you have experience across the entire sales cycle along with experience using Salesforce CRM or similar for accurate records. You’ll work to daily call targets and monthly KPIs and revenue targets, helping us service our clients across the Jobs Category.

What are we looking for?

• Previous phone based outbound sales experience (high volume of calls) with a track record of hitting targets.

• You’ll have sector specific background in B2B sales ideally within recruitment, job boards or similar.

• You’ll be a natural relationship-builder and comfortable pitching at all levels.

• Self-motivation, resilience and drive - you wake up hungry and ready to go!

• You’ll be a positive and an all-around brilliant teammate. We are on a mission and need all hands-on deck to get there!

• Willingness to commit to a 6-month fixed term assignment.
