We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic central analytics team in London. Location: London – Hybrid. 3 days in the office.
About the Role
You will work closely with data analysts and senior engineers to develop scalable and reliable data solutions that support business operations, analytics, and machine learning.
Your core impact will be across:
- Data Privacy & Compliance: You will help define and apply standards for handling PII, supporting the implementation of GDPR principles, and contributing to tooling that supports data subject rights.
- Data Modelling & Transformation: You will build and maintain clean, well-structured data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas) to power reporting and advanced analytics. You will develop reusable transformations to turn raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets.
- Analytics Enablement: You will partner with analysts and stakeholders to shape data models and pipelines that support their needs and help standardise metrics across the business.
- Collaboration: You will collaborate across time zones with our core data engineering teams based primarily in China, working effectively both in-person and asynchronously.

What We’re Looking For
- Cloud Data Warehouse & SQL Expertise: You are an SQL Expert able to efficiently query large datasets and optimise queries for performance. You have experience with a cloud-based data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Data Transformation & Modelling: You have experience using dbt or similar data transformation solutions , coupled with an understanding of data modelling concepts (facts/dimensions, star schemas).
- Programming & Orchestration: You have experience with Python (or similar) for data work (e.g., pandas, PySpark). You are familiar with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and/or CI/CD practices for data.
- Data Privacy & Compliance: You have an awareness of data privacy concepts and regulations such as GDPR, and a strong interest in learning how to apply them in practice for PII management.
- Quality & Collaboration: You possess a strong attention to detail and a quality mindset around data correctness, documentation, and reproducibility. You are comfortable working in a distributed team, collaborating effectively both in-person and asynchronously.
