As the Senior Commercial Analyst, Marketplace Economics, you will be the central force driving success, digging deep into customer behaviour, supply/demand dynamics, and pricing performance to uncover high-value opportunities that improve liquidity, fulfilment, and monetisation. Your work will directly influence decision-making and help ensure a consistently great experience for customers and sellers. About the Role

Joining the central analytics team, you will take on the critical responsibility of strengthening the marketplace's health and efficiency. You will define, refine, and own the Marketplace Health KPI suite to ensure teams are tracking what truly matters for customer and seller success. Your work involves building accessible dashboards and monitoring performance to proactively diagnose issues and identify risks or opportunities. You will lead Supply & Demand Insights by analysing customer behaviour and seller activity to forecast mismatches and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Growth, Product, and Operations. Furthermore, you will lead all Pricing Analytics, running end-to-end experiments, analysing elasticity and customer sensitivity, and partnering with the Commercial team to shape monetisation strategy. Ultimately, you act as a trusted cross-functional partner, communicating insights with clarity and business context to ensure stakeholders understand the "so what" and recommended next steps.

What We’re Looking For

• You’ll have proven experience in commercial, product, or marketing analytics (ideally within eCommerce or marketplaces).
• Fluency in SQL— you should be able to write queries in your sleep.
• Experience bringing data to life with visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and applying insights to business decisions.
• Python/R for deeper analytics.
• The ability to handle ambiguity and imperfect data.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for learning and improving.
