About the Role

As our CRM Email Developer, you will a technical expert within the CRM team, responsible for building, maintaining, and optimising responsive email templates in Braze. You will leverage HTML, CSS, and Liquid logic to create highly personalised, scalable communications that render perfectly across every device and inbox. Beyond email development, you will act as a critical safeguard for our brand, owning the end-to-end QA process and troubleshooting complex builds to ensure our campaigns are delivered flawlessly and on time. Your contribution will directly enhance the user experience for millions, making every transaction on Gumtree safer, simpler, and more enjoyable.

• You have sound expertise in email development and CRM production.

• You are an expert in HTML and CSS, specifically for email, with a deep understanding of responsive patterns and client-safe techniques.

• You have hands-on experience with Braze, including the use of Content Blocks and Liquid logic for personalisation.

• You possess an eagle eye for detail, with a disciplined approach to rendering checks, link validation, and error-free delivery.

• You are a collaborative communicator who enjoys working alongside designers, copywriters, and campaign managers to turn briefs into polished emails.

• You thrive at pace, maintaining high standards and clean code even when managing multiple requests under tight timelines.
